On the third Wednesday of each month, members and friends of Triangle Skeptics meet for an event that is part featured lecture, part social gathering. Organized under the internationally-popular Skeptics in the Pub format, attendees should bring an open but critical mind, awareness of their own biases, and respect for their fellow humans.

Typical agenda:

• 6:30pm – 7:00pm: Eat and greet (no prize for arriving early)
• 7:00pm – 8:00pm: Featured presentation
• 8:00pm – 9:00pm: Group discussion; sometimes a magic trick

In non-pandemic times these events take place in establishments that offer food and drink for purchase. We encourage attendees to support the hosting venues, which typically offer their event spaces to our group at no cost.

As we now find ourselves still in the midst of a COVID-19 pandemic, all our meetings are online only for the foreseeable future.
